Anomalous Object #: AO-5763-NWWFHFS

Item Description: A sapient group of roughly ~115,000 apple seeds exhibiting hivemind behaviour

Date of Recovery: 15-03-2021

Location of Recovery: Office Wing, Site-19. AO-5763 was found in the private office for "Dr. Everett King." Inquires for a Dr. King in SCiPnet redirects to the Wikipedia article for apples.

Current Status: AO-5763 is currently contained within a standard containment cell in Area-54.

Addendum 5763-1: Testing Log

Supervisor: Dr. Adam Conroy
Procedure: A single (1) D-Class personnel is introduced into the containment chamber containing AO-5763, and instructed to interact with it.
Results: D-8673 enters the containment chamber and approaches AO-5763 without incident. The moment D-8673 makes physical contact with the entity, their arm begins to crumble into apple seeds, followed by the rest of their body. The apple seeds produced from this interaction were assimilated into AO-5763.
Notes: That's not good. - Conroy

Supervisor: Dr. Adam Conroy
Procedure: SCP-30001 is to enter AO-5763's containment chamber, and use its seismic properties to destabilize the object, potentially neutralizing it.
Results: SCP-30001 makes physical contact with AO-5763. While some apple seeds are shaken off, SCP-30001 is quickly assimilated into AO-5763 alongside the lost apple seeds. The assimilated seeds have yet to demonstrate SCP-30001's anomalous property.
Notes: Shit, we lost Sam. Clare ain't gonna be happy about this. But the seeds don't seem to be anomalous. I wonder… - Conroy

Supervisor: Dr. Adam Conroy, Dr. Steven Roberts
Procedure: AO-5763 is to be brought to Area 4715-23 and introduced to SCP-4715.
Results: The entirety of SCP-4715, including the portions of it which were previously considered indestructible, was assimilated into AO-5763 without incident. It is to be noted that this is the first recorded instance of SCP-4715 demonstrating distress.
Notes: Now we're getting somewhere. - Conroy

[EXTRANEOUS LOGS REMOVED]

Supervisor: Dr. Adam Conroy
Procedure: AO-5673 and SCP-682 are to be put into a testing chamber and allowed to interact.
Results: SCP-682 begins to get assimilated into AO-5673. When approximately 75% of SCP-682 was transfigured into apple seeds, the process began to slow down, eventually ending. AO-5673 was moved to a separate containment chamber, as SCP-682 had adapted to its effects.
Notes: Eh, was worth a shot. - Conroy

Supervisor: N/A
Procedure: Without prior approval, Dr. Jack Bright entered the containment chamber for AO-5763.
Results: Dr. Jack Bright, sans SCP-963, was assimilated into AO-5763. Subsequent testing of SCP-963 failed to demonstrate any anomalous properties. Following this, SCP-963 is considered neutralized.
Notes: At least he finally got the end he wanted. - Dr. Alto Clef

Supervisor: Dr. Adam Conroy
Procedure: AO-5673 is to be returned to its Location of Discovery, and observed.
Results: Please review Incident-001-1
Notes: Shit. - Conroy
