WTPD constructs SCP-6946 for use against IJAMEA in the Pacific Theater.

March
SCP-6946 deactivates during the Battle of Manila.

Attempts to decommission SCP-6946 begin.

With support from O5-7, WTPD is reformed as the Department of Anomalous Weapons Development, with Olaf Lunden as the Director.
1979
April
Olaf Lunden steps down from Director, appointing Felipe Everest as his replacement.

Decommissioning efforts for SCP-6946 prove fruitless and come to an end.

July
SCP-6821 is confirmed to exist.
2008
SCP-127 is discovered to be an instance of SCP-6410, prompting a joint research task force between Area-34 and Site-50.

Following a minor spike of attacks from SCP-6821, an investigation begins into their origins in Spain.

SCP-359 is discovered.

Felipe Everest proposes the weaponization of SCP-6410.
2015
April
SCP-359-A, and the cache of hephasium within, is discovered by the Foundation. Efforts begin to get past SCP-359 and access SCP-359-A.
2016
Senior Engineer Ezra Everest submits a Decommissioning Proposal for SCP-6821, which is denied.
2017
January
Weapon-359-9 is constructed by Ezra Everest and deployed against SCP-359. After its neutralization and the actions of Gi-1, the hephaesium within SCP-359-9 was lost.
November
A large group of SCP-6821 instances attack Area-34. This prompts Ezra Everest to resubmit his proposal, which is once again denied.
2018
Weaponization of SCP-6410 is considered a success.
February, March
Felipe Everest was attacked by a group of SCP-6821 instances and died. His son, Ezra Everest, was appointed as the new Director. He resubmits his Decommissioning Proposal, which is approved. This results in the creation of Weapon-6821-2, a virus that converts blood into iron.
2020
It is discovered that SCP-6821 had interbred with humans in the past, leading to some humans being infected with Weapon-6821-2. The Foundation switches gears and attempts to offer aid to SCP-6821 and infected humans, trying to develop a cure for the weapon. Later that year, the GOC and MCF offer to aid, only if the Foundation completely detaches themselves from 6821. An Ethics Hearing is heard, resulting in a 1-year suspension for Dr. Everest. During this suspension, James Yun serves as Surrogate Director.
2021
James Yun drafts a decommissioning proposal for SCP-6946, which is approved the same year.
Following his return from suspension, Dr. Everest collaborates with Dr. Thereven for Project Spearhead, resulting in Athena being drafted as the protector deity of Area-34.
November
SCP-6821 is officially declared extinct by the Foundation.
2023
November
Ezra Everest begins selling AWD assets to MC&D.
December
James Yun's decommissioning proposal is carried out, resulting in the lost of SCP-6946 following an inside job from Hokkyōbō and Site-50's AWD Department. Following this loss, AWD is gutted and dismantled to cover costs.
2024
January
James Yun discovers Ezra Everest's deals with MC&D, transferring departments after confronting him.
Ezra Everest disappears.
February
AWD searches for a new Director, but no one is willing to take the role. The Department officially enters a reserve period and focuses on only maintaining its current projects.
2025
March
Need for AWD arises. Katherine Summers — a transplant from another Department — is appointed as the new Director of AWD by the O5 Council and Ethics Committee. While returning to a fully operational state, AWD still lacks the resources it had before Ezra's bumbling.
