scp where humanity is the anomaly!!! shocker!!! but its from the pov of woodland critters (mice, rats, badgers, snakes) that saw humanity as one of them, which they were! but after their enslavement by the yeren and the day of flowers, humanity turned their back on their origin and became weird. using weird tools and destroying the homes of their friends for more tools. ends with humanity bombing itself and the critters trying to make sense of what happened.
oooh, maybe the whole article is after humanity blew themselves up and the whole thing is the critters collecting what they knew of their old friends and trying to figure out what happened. bellerverse? perchance.
Item #: XXXX
Object Class: Simian
Shelter Conservation Procedures: SCP-XXXX poses no threats to any shelters so far, although its repercussions could prove harmful for those who rely on SCP-001. Scurryers are working on exploring the extent of SCP-XXXX and are expected to return with news by next harvest. Until then, it is recommended that Cowerers stay within their shelters unless necessary or ordered by a Preserver.
It has been deemed safe by the Elders for settlements previously occupied by SCP-001 to be opened for resettlement by the Village. Cowerers are encouraged to set up new shelters in these environments, with Preservers assigned to assist them in the relocation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the sudden and complete disappearance of SCP-001. It is unknown when exactly SCP-001 disappeared, as most Cowerers live separated from SCP-001. However, those who lived in proximity to SCP-001 claimed it happened approximately 2 12 many, many moons ago. What caused SCP-XXXX is still unknown, but all of the Village's top Scurryers have been sent out to find clues. Despite our Scurryers' best efforts, no information regarding the origin of SCP-XXXX could be found.
The effects of SCP-XXXX so far reported are:
- Safer waters
- Larger shelter locations
- Less disappearances of Village members
- The disappearance of Cowerers enslaved by SCP-001 and other critters similar to SCP-001
Aside from those who directly relied on SCP-001 for their way of life, SCP-XXXX has proven to be a net benefit for our people, allowing our Village to expand into territories uninhabited for aeons. The possibility that SCP-XXXX could be reversed has proved worrisome for many in the community. As such, the Village's Scurryers have been sent out once more to ensure that SCP-XXXX cannot be undone. They are expected to return by the harvest after the next.
Addition XXXX-22:
Approximately one moon ago, Scurryer Fable uncovered pressing information regarding SCP-XXXX. Her notes on the matter can be found below:
I was exploring an abandoned SCP-001 structure - as all of their structures are now - when I activated one of their arcane magics.
I was digging through one of their underground burrows, cold and hard like all the other ones. I was deep underground, far where the moles and worms dig, when I found one of their altars. I scurried up to face its water pool and turned it on. I saw the face of one of them looking back at me, confused. It spoke to me in their language. It told tell I couldn't understand it, and after a bit it continued in our tongue.
Who are you? A rabbit?

"…I am Scurryer Fable," I responded, hesitantly. "Daughter of Elder Mag. I have been sent here to discover why SCP-001 disappeared."
Scurryer? Elder Mag? SCP-001?
