SCP-XXXX is the concept of Juan Santamaría Rodríguez and his legacy. SCP-XXXX has been extensively and greatly modified by an unknown party, resulting in it having increased in strength and recognition faster than it would've naturally. SCP-XXXX has shown association with the concepts of:

Juan Santamaría Rodríguez was a drummer for the army of Costa Rica during the Filibuster War. During the Second Battle of Rivas, on April 11th, 1856, Rodríguez sacrificed himself to light the enemy stronghold on fire, directly leading to a victory for Costa Rica. While his death was well-known at the time, it wasn't until 35 years later, in 1891, that SCP-XXXX entered the noosphere. This led to a resurgence in celebration of Rodríguez and his sacrifice. Since its initial emergence, SCP-XXXX has exponentially increased in strength and influence, despite most individuals outside of Costa Rica being unaware of its existence.
The Foundation first discovered the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX in 1998 by the Department of Anomalous Weapons Development. During the testing of an experimental noospheric weapon, the prototype weapon encountered and was engulfed by SCP-XXXX, resulting in the assimilation of the weapon and the concepts it was powered by. Due to this, the exact nature of the weapon and its purpose has been lost. SCP-XXXX was put into an observation period following this incident.
SCP-XXXX has been labelled as a potential candidate for essophysical emergence.

BEHAVIOURAL CHANGES
SCP-XXXX existed in an active state for a short period after its emergence before following into a state of dormancy. SCP-XXXX exhibited short periods of activity throughout its hibernation, with notable periods of activity during the Costa Rican civil war in 1948 and the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in Costa Rica in March 2020.
SCP-XXXX entered an active state at the start of 2021 and has yet to return to a dormant state.
