An androgynous person stood on the tiling of another's kitchen floor, they stared down at the blood that pooled at their feet, twisting and blending into the cracks and crevices in the tiles. Zero had finally felt free, free from the illness that had grasped ahold of them, free from the things holding them down with a crushing weight, finally free. These thoughts were cut short, a knock at the front door interrupting them. Head jerking to the side to try and see the door, they hesitated, pausing for a brief moment. They took a few steps back, a metallic clanking sound emitting from the silverware that hit the floor they previously stood on. Walking over to the door, Zero took a deep breath, placed their hand on the handle, and twisted the knob. They saw a frail, fragile-looking woman on the other side, a smirk spreading across their lips. Before the woman could get a word out from between her pink, glossed lips, they grasped ahold of the woman's arm, tugging her into the house and locking the door behind them. The woman’s muffled screams spread across the house just moments before her head collided with a hard, wooden surface, forcing her vision to snap into complete darkness.
