Description: SCP-WGAS is everyone. SCP-WGAS is no one. WGAS is the thoughts accompanying you wherever you go. WGAS is the bane of your existence. SCP-WGAS wants to see you hurt. SCP-WGAS wants to see you in pain. SCP-WGAS is all of your negative thoughts. SCP-WGAS is all the negative things they say to you. SCP-WGAS is the things that don't care about you. SCP-WGAS is a ringed booklet consisting of exactly 120 pages. WGAS is a series of journal entries that Dr. Gregors was instructed to write in by his therapist. SCP-WGAS is a soft-cover notebook that has been dropped in water. WGAS' color is faded due to time and exposure to different elements.
Addendum.WGAS.001: Discovery
SCP-WGAS was discovered after Dr. Gregors had been found in his apartment complex in Bakersfield, California. While police were examining the room, SCP-WGAS was discovered in Gregors' top left desk drawer within his bedroom.

[BEGIN LOG]
[Static before the video clicks in, a ring emitting through the audio receivers before quiet speech is heard. Detective Richards and Deputy Phillips are seen talking, Phillips sat on a bed while Richards stood.]
Detective Richards: So… you knew this guy?
Deputy Phillips: [Cough.] Yeah, I did. He was good friends with my daughter.
[The detective nods. He then turns towards the desk beside him.]
Detective Richards: You look in there yet?
Deputy Phillips: No, out of respect for-
[Richards opened the top drawer, left side.]
Deputy Phillips: -the dead.
[Richards is seen shuffling through the drawers, stopping on the third drawer, right side. He pulls out a notebook. Phillips stands up and moves closer.]
Detective Richards: I wonder what's in here, Phillips.
[Phillips nods. Richards can be seen shuffling through the book, yet abruptly stopped. He shut it, turning his head towards the camera.]
Detective Richards: I'll be taking this.
[He walked over to the camera. Distant chatter is cut off as the camera turns off, screen resting black for a few seconds before cutting completely.]

After the discovery of SCP-WGAS, Detective Richards begun having intrusive thoughts. These thoughts caused him to self-administer into the Crestwood Behavioral Health institute.
Addendum.WGAS.002: Detective Richards Interview Log 005
The log attached below was given to the Foundation by the Crestwood Behavioral Health institute. Consent was given from Detective Richards, the institute, and the interviewer.

DATE: 2022/05/22
NOTE: This interview log has been given to Dr. "Lotus" Rhienhardt to assist with further research on an unspecified project. Consent to do so was given.
[BEGIN LOG]
[The camera turns on, positioned in a room lit by fluorescent lights. Richards is sat at a table across from an interview personnel within the institute. Richards' head is tilted towards the table between them.]
Dr. McVarhn: Mr. Richards, correct?
[He nods.]
Dr. McVarhn: Alright — Mr. Richards, you were sent to investigate the scene of Mr. Gregors' death, correct?
Richards: Correct.
Dr. McVarhn: And at the scene, you said you found a…
[The interviewer pauses to look over her notes.]
Dr. McVarhn: A notebook, yes?
Richards: Well — a journal of some sort, but yes.
Dr. McVarhn: Right. Would you say that disturbing content was held within that journal?
[He nods.]
Dr. McVarhn: Would you mind disclosing said content?
[Silence.]
Dr. McVarhn: …Mr. Richards?
Richards: …
Richards: I'd rather not disclose that information.
Dr. McVarhn: And why is that?
[Richards looked up at her.]
Richards: Out of fear, Mrs. McVarhn.
Dr. McVarhn: Of?
[Richards falls silent once more, head tilted back down towards the table.]
Dr. McVarhn: … [Sigh.] Right. Do you have anything else that you would like to make known, Mr. Richards?
Richards: No.
Dr. McVarhn: Alright, well, I guess we're done for today then. I'll escort you back.
[The footage cuts.]

The previously attached log is the cause of the instatement of RULE 26.
Addendum.WGAS.003: RULE 26
RULE 26 is the name of the requirement that was set in place by the Foundation on 2022/05/30. Attached below is the direct copy of RULE 26.
SCP-WGAS - RULE-26
RULE APPROVED BY O5-6
When researching SCP-WGAS, staff members must be within a stable mental status. Staff cannot currently have the diagnosed illnesses*;
-Depression disorders
-Borderline Personality Disorder or Bipolar Disorder
-Anxiety disorders
-Schizophrenia
-OCD
If a staff member has any of these and wishes to study SCP-WGAS with persuasion attempts, they cannot study WGAS unsupervised under any circumstances. If staff is persistent on studying WGAS without supervision, staff must be removed from any continued studies with the anomaly and must be placed within special care for up to 48 hours.
The content within SCP-WGAS may be unsettling and/or disturbing to these individuals, leading to the RULE being established. Any staff refusing to follow RULE-26 must be removed from its presence and put into special care as well as questioning 24 hours after removal from care.
*Additional non-listed illnesses may apply.
After being established, RULE 26 was applied to every study of SCP-WGAS for health and safety reasons.
